Biography:

Obi-Wan Kenobi is a central character in the Star Wars saga, first appearing in the film Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope (1977), where he was portrayed by Alec Guinness.

He is introduced as a Jedi Master, a member of a peacekeeping order of Force-sensitive warriors dedicated to upholding peace and justice throughout the galaxy.

The Disney+ Obi-Wan Kenobi series expands on the character's life during his exile on Tatooine, years after the events of Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith (2005), where he is portrayed by Ewan McGregor who also played him in the prequel trilogy. The series explores his struggles with the fall of the Jedi Order and his efforts to protect a young Luke Skywalker from the clutches of the Galactic Empire.
